Job summary

VPT, Inc. seeks an Electronics Assembler to assemble, solder, and test high-reliability components for aerospace and defense. You will work with SMT equipment, document production processes, and collaborate with engineers to ensure flawless builds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 2 years of general work experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret schematics, drawings, and assembly instructions.
• Experience with SMT assembly, soldering, and hand/bench tools.
• Familiarity with ESD and FOD-controlled environments.
• Proficiency with basic computer skills and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor SMT and soldering equipment.
• Assemble components using drawings and work instructions.
• Perform visual and automated quality checks on parts.
• Rework or repair parts to meet specifications.
• Document work and maintain production records.
