Job summary

Ludlum Measurements, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Scaler - Assembly to join our Surface Mount team in Sweetwater, TX. You will load and operate the surface mount machine and rotate to other department positions including automated inspection.

You should be self-motivated with keen attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication. This is a full-time, in-person role with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel).
• Self-motivated, able to take initiative to complete work.
• Ability to learn, adapt and troubleshoot as needed.
• High attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Read drawings, bill of materials and other documents to build blank circuit boards.
• Manage and change components for pick and place machine.
• Apply solder paste using specialized stencils and solder paste machine.
• Install parts on boards using automated component pick and place machine.
• Perform quality checks with automated optical inspection equipment.
• Rework or repair boards by adding/removing components as required.
• All other duties as assigned.
