Qualifications
- Complete set-up and operation of slitting per specs
- Ability to read production instructions and measurements
- Ability to lift and handle parts safely per safety rules - up to 50 lbs
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate slitter according to customer specs
- Inspect equipment and measure dimensions accurately
- Thread coil through slitter head and manage material quality
- Reconcile coil identity to production and load coil
- Maintain gauges and record measurements
- Communicate non-conformances to supervisor or shift lead
- Assist maintenance with troubleshooting and preventive tasks
- Remove scrap and keep work area clean
