Job summary

Momentive is seeking a Compounding Operator on the 2nd shift to safely and efficiently perform cold mixing and milling of high‑consistency silicone rubber, following customer specifications. You will operate multiple types of mixers, mills and extruders, refer to batch cards, and ensure safety, cleanliness and process discipline.

The role requires the ability to work extended shifts, pass background/drug tests, and communicate effectively in English, with a shift premium and potential increases

Qualifications

• Must read and understand written instructions.
• Must be able to stand for an 8.5-hour shift.
• Must read, understand, and speak English.
• Must pass a criminal background and pre-employment drug test.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Operate mixers, mills and extruders and related equipment as required.
• Refer to batch cards for proper amounts, temperatures and sequences.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and support Lean 5S in shift transitions.
• Work irregular shifts and overtime to meet production demand.
