Job summary

Momentive is seeking a Compounding Operator for the 3rd shift to safely perform cold mixing and milling of high‑consistency silicone rubber to customer specs. Primary duties include operating multiple types of mixers, mills and extruders and following batch cards for materials and temperatures.

The position requires standing for 8.5 hours, good English, and the ability to work irregular shifts with overtime.

Qualifications

• Perform arithmetic operations quickly and accurately.
• Basic writing skills for production records.
• Basic verbal communication to transfer problems and receive assignments.
• Must read and understand written instructions.
• Must stand for an 8.5-hour shift.
• Must read, understand, and speak English.
• Must pass background and pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Operate mixers, mills and extruders as required.
• Follow batch cards for materials, temperatures and additions.
• Maintain clean, orderly work area and drive Lean 5S.
• Work independently and multi-task; overtime as needed.
• Wear respirator as required and adhere to safety protocols.
