Job summary

We are seeking a skilled welder/fabrication technician to lay out, align, and weld components for tanks and assemblies. You will read blueprints, set up machines, and ensure parts meet specifications while maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities include welding various processes (MIG/TIG/Stick), documenting work, and supporting supervisors with versatile duties. On-site role requiring physical effort and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 years related experience may be considered.
• Must pass weld tests 0808GT16-2, 0808GM31-1 and 0808GM33-1.
• Ability to read cut sheets, blueprints, and tape measures.

Responsibilities

• Study engineering drawings and blueprints to mark lines and lay out work.
• Align and fit parts, move into position and secure for welding.
• Verify conformance and prepare work for inspection.
• Set up and operate fabricating machines and welding equipment.
• MIG, TIG, Flux, Core, stick and tack-weld seams.
• Complete manufacturing documentation in a timely manner.
• Weld lower level parts and patch holes, tack parts together.
• Will train on basic grinding as needed.
• Follow safety guidelines and assist supervisors as required.
• Perform other duties as needed.
