Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Pipe Welder in Pascagoula, MS to join its shipbuilding, marine, and industrial welding team. The role emphasizes precision welding to ensure leak-free, durable joints in pipe systems.

The candidate will perform SMAW, GTAW, and GMAW welding, interpret drawings, fit and tack-weld components, inspect welds, and maintain equipment while following safety policies and production schedules. 2–5 years of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of pipe welding experience in shipyards, industrial plants, or construction.
• Strong knowledge of welding procedures, codes, and standards (AWS, ASME).
• Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in various environmental conditions.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Weld on carbon steel, stainless steel, copper-nickel, and other alloys using SMAW, GTAW, and/or GMAW.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols to determine job requirements.
• Fit, align, and tack-weld pipe components in preparation for final welding.
• Inspect and test completed welds to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper use of tools and consumables.
• Adhere to OSHA, company, and shipyard safety policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with pipefitters and supervisors to meet production schedules.
