Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Pipe Welder to join our shipbuilding and repair operations. You will weld pipe joints, interpret blueprints, and ensure high-quality, safe welds on steel piping of various sizes, working with a Pipe Fitter and a team.

The role requires 1–2 years of shipyard/industrial welding experience, proficiency with SMAW/FCAW, and strong safety discipline to meet industry standards. Opportunities include growth in a heavy fabrication environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass 6G E6010 open root and E7018 fill and cap test on 2" and 6" sch 40 pipe.
• 1–2 years shipyard/industrial welding experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and piping drawings.
• Familiarity with welding safety protocols.
• Ability to work in suboptimal conditions (cold, heights, tight spaces).

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality welding on various pipes using MIG, TIG, and stick welding as required.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings to determine welding needs.
• Inspect welded joints for safety and quality compliance.
• Maintain and calibrate welding equipment and tools.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
