Job summary

Canon Business Process Services is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Specialist to support receipt, storage, packing, inventory control, and shipment of goods in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate is organized, safety-conscious, and experienced in shipping, receiving, inventory management, and logistics. Forklift certification is a plus and training is provided to stay compliant with DOT requirements.

Qualifications

1+ years in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics operations.
Experience with inventory or receiving software; quick learner of new systems.
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented; receiving accuracy impacts timelines.

Responsibilities

Receive inbound deliveries and verify against POs and packing slips.
Process receipts in inventory system and route items to correct location.
Deliver packages internally across floors and buildings.
Pick, pack, and ship outbound orders including RMAs and inter-site transfers.
Prepare shipments per carrier and DOT requirements.
Schedule carrier pickups and manage the dock calendar.
Maintain a clean, safe dock and storage area.
Operate pallet jacks and forklifts when certified.
Assist inter-site moves between San Francisco and Fremont.
Assist with cycle counts and asset tracking.
Identify process gaps and help develop SOPs for new function.
