Job summary

Carolina Handling, LLC is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate to manage inbound and outbound goods at our warehouse facility. You will verify content, document inventory, and prepare shipments with proper labeling and packaging.

Responsibilities include packing, loading/unloading, and coordinating with carriers. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow safety procedures are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven proficiency in order picking, packing, shipping, and receiving with speed and accuracy.
• Excellent prioritization and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• Basic mechanical aptitude, computer literacy, and clerical skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft applications like Outlook, Word, and Excel beneficial.
• Experience in equipment handling operations and knowledge of hazardous material procedures advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Achieve 100% accuracy in daily shipping and receiving goals.
• Verify and document shipments and received goods with proper labeling.
• Inspect incoming products for damages and quantities.
• Pick orders and inspect outgoing products for quality and accuracy.
• Pack orders securely to prevent transit damage.
• Load, unload, and transport freight to staging or production areas using equipment.
