Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year shipping/receiving/warehouse/manufacturing exp. preferred.
• Experience with packing slips, shipping paperwork, and LTL pickups preferred.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills.
• Ability to learn online shipping and company systems.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated and dependable.
• Excellent attendance is required.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Work well with management, coworkers, freight companies and logistics personnel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and package finished products for shipment.
• Verify correct parts/products are packed in boxes.
• Seal, label, wrap, and band shipping boxes.
• Prepare shipping paperwork, including Bills of Lading and packing slips.
• Complete online Bills of Lading required by trucking companies.
• Print and apply shipping labels using computer systems.
• Process UPS and FedEx shipments through online systems.
• Verify customer info, PO numbers, part numbers, addresses and docs.
• Enter shipment information into company system.
• Schedule LTL freight pickups and coordinate with logistics providers.
• Apply UL labels to boxes containing UL-approved products.
• Receive incoming products and verify against packing lists.
• Move incoming materials to appropriate areas.
• Operate forklift as needed.
• Follow company quality and processing procedures.
• Inspect products and packaging for conformance before shipment.
• Report any non-conforming product to supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
