Job summary

National Peening Wallingford, part of the Sinto America family, seeks a Shipping & Receiving Inspector to ensure accurate material flow and quality of shot peening processes. You will collaborate with the Plant Manager and Quality Manager to meet customer requirements, safety expectations, ITAR regulations, and internal performance goals.

The role requires reading procedures, performing inspections, and maintaining certifications and shipment records in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; experience in manufacturingpreferred.
• Shipping and Receiving experience, 1–3 years.
• Must meet ITAR eligibility and present documentation at hire.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs and work in dusty/noisy environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily shipment reports.
• Perform incoming inspections and issue receiving paperwork.
• Review customer purchase orders and verify conformance to required specs.
• Create job/part certifications within E2 system.
• Inspect parts per customer dv/quality data and document findings.
• Issue non-conformance reports as needed.
