Job summary
Standex International Corporation is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to ensure accurate pulling, packing and loading of products, while maintaining an organized warehouse. You will work with a team to ensure timely shipments and compliance with customer requirements.
The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in a warehouse or shipping role, familiarity with WMS or shipping software, and forklift certification. This on-site position may require overtime during peak periods.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or shipping environment.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or shipping software.
- Forklift certification or experience operating heavy machinery.
- Familiarity with international shipping procedures and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and verify items against pick lists for part number and quantity.
- Package, palletize, label, and prepare shipments per guidelines.
- Load and unload trucks and secure shipments for transport.
- Verify shipping documents and packing slips for accuracy.
- Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely.
- Inspect shipments for damage and report issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and comply with PPE.
