Job summary

Environmental Air Systems is seeking a Sheetmetal Ductwork Fabricator in High Point, NC. This hands-on role involves layout, fabrication, and assembly of sheet metal ductwork from blueprints and specifications, with a focus on quality and safety.

You will measure, cut, and shape metal using a range of tools, lay out patterns for cutting and bending, and assemble duct sections. TIG/MIG welding is a plus, and teamwork is essential to deliver projects on time and to spec.

Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints and fabricating ductwork.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Welding experience (TIG/MIG) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and shape sheet metal using hand and power tools.
• Lay out patterns and scribe lines on metal sheets for cutting and bending.
• Assemble and join ductwork sections using rivets, Pittsburgh locks, and welding.
• Inspect finished projects for accuracy and conformance to specs.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety regulations.
