100Hires, Inc. is seeking a dedicated finishing technician to perform precision grinding, deburring, and edge conditioning on metal parts in a fast-paced shop in Colorado Springs. You will use surface, manual, and jig grinders, read blueprints, and verify dimensions with calipers and micrometers.

The role requires 1+ year in metal finishing, strong manual dexterity, and a team-oriented mindset. PPE is mandatory; the position offers competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in grinding, deburring, or metal finishing; precision sheet metal a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end part finishing: grinding, deburring, edge conditioning.
• Eliminate burrs and sharp edges to meet print and quality standards.
• Inspect visually and with calipers/micrometers; report nonconformances.
• Maintain and set up grinders for consistent output.
• Work safely with PPE and proper environmental practices.
• Collaborate with machinists, welders, and quality inspectors to meet daily goals.

Shape the Final Touch on Precision PartsPicture this: you clock in, gear up with PPE, and step to a clean, well-lit finishing cell. A batch of laser-cut panels is queued and ready. Your hands move from a surface grinder to a handheld deburring tool; you feather sharp edges, blend surfaces, and confirm a satin finish that meets spec.
