Qualifications

• Highest education: high school or equivalent.
• Ability to read assembly drawings/blueprints and follow work instructions.
• Able to use measuring tools (tape measure, calipers) accurately.
• Experience with manual, electric and pneumatic hand tools preferred.
• Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Verify sheet metal components, dimensions, and materials by referencing drawings and specs.
• Assemble sheet metal components and subassemblies under supervision.
• Measure, mark, align, fit, and fasten parts with rivets, screws, bolts, etc.
• Operate manual, electric, and pneumatic tools used in sheet metal assembly.
• Perform fabrication tasks including cutting, drilling, punching, bending, deburring.
• Verify completed dimensions using measuring tools.
• Inspect components for defects and workmanship.
• Report deviations to supervision.
• Handle sheet metal safely to prevent injuries and damage.
• Follow safety requirements and quality standards.
• Daily clean-up and tool return after shift.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
