Job summary

New Hudson Facades is seeking a Sheet Metal Mechanic (2nd Shift) in Technical Aston, PA. The role involves fabricating and assembling sheet metal components per drawings and specs, using manual, electric, and pneumatic tools, while ensuring quality and dimensional accuracy.

You will verify components, assemble parts, measure and fit using rivets and fasteners, and inspect assemblies for defects. High school diploma preferred; prior sheet metal experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience reading assembly drawings or blueprints preferred.
• Experience using manual, electric, and pneumatic tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify sheet metal components and dimensions using drawings and specs.
• Assemble sheet metal parts and subassemblies under supervision.
• Measure and align parts using rivets, screws, and bolts.
• Operate hand tools (drills, grinders, rivet guns) safely.
• Perform basic fabrication: cutting, drilling, bending, deburring.
• Inspect finished assemblies for defects and proper fit.
• Report dimensional issues to supervision as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and tool storage.
