Reliance, Inc. is seeking a hands-on material handler to load, unload, cut and inspect material processed on internal equipment. You will move stock with overhead cranes, set up shear/saw tables, and ensure parts meet tolerances per work orders.

Ability to read tickets, operate measuring devices, and maintain a safe, organized workspace is essential. This on-site role requires teamwork in a medium/heavy manufacturing environment and adherence to safety protocols.

Formación

• Experience with heavy lifting and safe material handling.
• Ability to read work instructions and tickets.
• Proficiency with measuring devices and tolerances.
• Familiarity with crane and lifting equipment safety rules.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments.

Responsabilidades

• Survey area and store stock and in-process material and keep work station clean, safe and organized.
• Properly lift material and transport to destination with overhead cranes.
• Land material on shear tables or saw tables and remove attachments safely.
• Identify and retrieve material according to work instructions or tickets.
• Perform pre-shift crane and lifting equipment inspections and document findings.
• Square material to blade guides and set blade gaps to required thickness.
• Cut simple and complex parts and inspect to tolerances.
• Finish material to customer specs, package and tag accordingly.
• Mark heat numbers and return drops to storage; use measuring tools properly.
• Communicate with coworkers and supervisors; follow safety rules.
