Valmont Industries is hiring a Saw Operator in Valley, Nebraska. The role requires cutting shafts per blueprints, using a saw, and moving materials with a forklift to support multiple production lines.

The position runs on a 1st shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Compensation is $25.36 per hour, with safety standards and lean practices emphasized throughout the production process.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints and decipher specifications.
• Proficient with tape measures, micrometers and protractors.
• Must be able to work overtime when needed.
• The candidate should be forklift certified within 90 days.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate a saw to cut shafts per blueprint.
• Ensure cuts meet length, diameter and angle requirements.
• Use IFS to look up part locations and issue materials.
• Operate a forklift to move material as needed.
• Support other lines when workload allows.
• Follow Valmont safety policies and PPE requirements.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
