Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints and interpret dimensions.
• Good mechanical skills for setup and adjustments.
• Knowledge in using gauges (e.g., plug gauges, micrometers).
• Familiarity with basic SPC charts interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operation of departmental machinery.
• Make minor repairs to machine tools.
• Understand grinding machine-adjusting characteristics.
• Remove old tool and replace with new tool.
• Perform new machine set-ups.
• Accurately fill out Control Plans and quality inspection documents.
• Ability to understand gage-fixturing for testing springs.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers to produce high quality parts.
