Job summary

Freudenberg seeks a skilled technician to repair seals and manage related tasks in a manufacturing setting. You will review materials, determine repairability, price repairs, and ensure parts align with BOMs and drawings.

You will perform assembly after repair release, operate drill press, grinder, bead blast polisher, and lapping machine, and verify dimensions with precision tools. A high school diploma and 4+ years of seal experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years of mechanical seal equipment experience in refining, petrochemical, chemical, power or upstream markets.
• Ability to read, write and understand simple instructions, memos and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Receive parts and materials returned by customers and branch offices.
• Evaluate material condition and revisions to determine repairability.
• Price repair operations and ensure BOM/drawings match repair parts.
• Perform assembly of seals after repair release and recondition components.
• Operate basic shop equipment (drill press, grinder, bead blast polisher, lapping machine).
• Verify part specifications with measuring instruments and maintain repair records.
• Assist newer repair personnel and maintain clean work environment.
