Qualifications

• Experience with Brown & Sharpe automatic screw machines preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and setup sheets.
• Read micrometers and calipers; inspect parts to tolerances.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and handle tools safely.

Responsabilités

• Set up and adjust Brown & Sharpe automatic screw machines for production runs.
• Install and change tooling, including cutting tools, drills, and collets.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and setup sheets.
• Make machine adjustments to maintain dimensions and tolerances.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoot basic machine and tooling issues.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust as needed.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep a clean, organized work area.
• Follow safety procedures and quality standards.
