Responsibilities

Calibrate and set up sawing machines for specific job orders, including blades and attachments.
Position, secure, and mark materials on the machine.
Operate sawing equipment to cut various materials and monitor performance.
Use calipers and micrometers to inspect finished pieces.
Perform routine maintenance on saws, including cleaning and replacing worn components.
File, grind, or smooth rough edges to meet finishing requirements.
Keep daily production records and complete paperwork.
