Job summary

Hillman Brass & Copper, a division of Arbor Metals, seeks a motivated Saw Operator to join the production team. The role involves daily saw operation, material handling, and supporting inventory movement, with overtime possible to meet customer needs.

As a non-exempt hourly position reporting to the Operations Manager, you will operate saws, cranes, conveyors, and forklifts while ensuring safety and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to operate forklift
• Ability to operate overhead crane
• Commitment to safety protocols

Responsibilities

• Operate the saw and monitor material handling systems
• Operate the 10-ton overhead crane
• Manage in-feed and out-feed conveyor systems
• Operate forklift as required
• Pull and stage product
• Stack and band processed material
• Lift overhead chains/hooks
• Maintain saw and conveyor systems
• Maintain situational awareness in a busy environment
• Work indoors/outdoors in varied weather and conditions
• Perform other duties as assigned
