Canton Drop Forge, a world leader in custom die forgings, is seeking a Sawing Operator to set up, control, and operate various saws while supporting daily shop activities. The role verifies stock sizes, heat codes, and quality data, weighing and measuring cut pieces for documentation.

• Must be able to read and write in English.
• Must be able to read a tape measure up to 1/8 of an inch.
• Properly label stock with identifying information.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Set up, control, and operate various saws
• Verify stock sizes, numbers, and heat codes
• Measure part dimensions using appropriate tools
• Communicate findings to support quality and process control
• Perform saw blade changes
• Use grinders and other relevant tools
• Maintain records and documentation
• Other related duties as assigned.
