Job summary

VanZandt Controls and Eagle Automation is seeking a Saw Operator/Painter for our Machine Shop. You will cut metal, lay out reference lines, set machine speeds, deburr and finish parts. Duties include polishing, painting and ensuring safe, accurate production.

Requires HS diploma or GED, ability to read blueprints and tape measures, and experience with hand/power tools. Lift up to 50 lb; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work any shift and overtime as needed.
• Experience with hand and power tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow established work procedures to meet safety, quality and production goals.
• Lay out reference lines and machining locations using layout tools and shop math.
• Set and adjust machine controls; select speeds, feeds and tools per specs.
• Maneuver large pieces using various tools; maintain clean, safe area.
• Deburring, polishing, painting or sanding of parts.
