Responsibilities

• Setup & Operation: Select, set up, adjust, and safely operate industrial metal saws to cut materials according to job orders and production schedules.
• Blueprint Reading: Interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and job travelers to meet exact length, angle, and tolerance specs.
• Quality Control: Inspect incoming materials for defects; measure and verify cuts with tape measures, calipers, or micrometers.
• Material Management: Pull and organize raw materials from inventory and route to the next stage (welding/machining).
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-use inspections, clean and lubricate, adjust blade speed/tension, replace worn blades.
• Safety & Housekeeping: Follow OSHA and PPE/LOTO guidelines; keep workspace clean and hazard-free.
