Job summary

Service Steel Aerospace is seeking a Saw Operator to join our team. The role involves setting up and operating band saws and plate saws to cut aluminum, stainless steels, titanium, and other exotic metals per work orders.

You will verify dimensions, input data, and move material using forklift or crane while maintaining safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or equivalent and demonstrates strong math skills, the ability to read specifications, and experience

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with band saws and measuring tools is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and specifications.
• Proven safety record and adherence to procedures.
• Ability to operate forklift and crane if needed.
• Team-oriented with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate band saws to cut various metals per specifications.
• Read and follow work orders and quality requirements.
• Move and verify material using forklift or crane.
• Input data and set machine parameters per shop orders.
