Fathom Digital Manufacturing is a leading on-demand manufacturing platform in North America with extensive capabilities across 3D printing, CNC, injection molding, and more. We are seeking a fabrication technician to support safety, quality, and efficiency improvements across manufacturing processes.

The role focuses on deburring, grinding welded edges, prepping parts for paint, and identifying welding defects.

Qualifications

• Ability to debur, grind and blend welds to match contours.
• Knowledge of different tools and abrasives.
• Ability to produce quality parts efficiently.
• Able to recognize failures in welding process.

Responsibilities

• Deburring edges, breaking edges with die grinder or similar hand tool.
• Grinding welds with hand tools and/or stroke sander.
• Vibrating parts with orbital sander to prep for paint.
