Job summary

Friesen’s Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a hands-on Sandblaster to abrade and prepare stainless-steel surfaces for processing equipment.

You will operate abrasive equipment, follow precise directions, and work with cross-functional teams to meet quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, the physical stamina to stand and lift, and a willingness to learn new tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Attention to detail.
• Able to lift/carry and move objects.
• Standing while sandblasting for long periods of time.
• Able to read directions and multitask.
• Will cross-train to other departments.

Responsibilities

• Abrades surfaces of stainless-steel equipment.
• Loads and/or carries objects into an enclosed room.
• Regulates pressure and composition of abrasive mixture flowing through nozzle.
• Manually directs nozzle over surface.
• Examines finished parts to ensure conformance to specifications.
