AHK has an exciting opportunity for a Sample Preparation Technician to join our Laboratory based in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The Sample Preparation Technician is responsible for carrying out sample preparation procedures to a high degree of precision and accuracy on the various types of samples / commodities submitted to the laboratory for chemical analysis.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow documented methods.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy and precision in sample preparation procedures and promote good laboratory practice.
• Follow documented methods and inform management of any non-compliance.
• Keep equipment calibrated, clean, and in good working order; report issues promptly.
• Maintain clean balance areas and work stations to minimize cross-contamination.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Laboratory Supervisor.
• Uphold professional standards and company promotion while on duty.
• Ensure Health & Safety policy is applied in areas under control.
