Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a detail-oriented Rotary Die Cutter Operator for 2nd Shift in Shawnee, KS. You will set up, operate, and maintain rotary die-cutting equipment, overseeing finishing from material setup to final product while ensuring high quality and safety.

Responsibilities include setting up and operating machinery, monitoring die depth and registration, loading materials, and performing basic maintenance.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years setting up and operating rotary die‑cutting or web‑converting machinery.
• High School Diploma or GED required; vocational training a plus.
• Ability to read job tickets, specs, and layout proofs; use precision measurement tools; basic math.

Responsibilities

• Setup & Operation: Read job tickets, specs, and layout proofs. Gather substrates, cylinders, and dies. Install rotary cylinders, adjust stations, and calibrate web tension and cut depth.
• Quality Control: Monitor die-depth, matrix stripping, die clearance, perforation quality, and registration with calipers and loupes.
• Material & Inventory: Load/unload substrate rolls, organize dies, track consumables and report low stock.
• Safety & Hygiene: Follow safety rules, PPE, and keep workstations clean.
