Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, maintain and monitor grinding of work rolls and back up rolls.
• Adjust grinding speed, traverse speed and coolant to achieve the desired finish.
• Inspect rolls for surface finish, hardness, and tolerances; hold non-conforming rolls for QA.
• Instruct new workers in roll grinding operations.
