Job summary

Emerson Electric Co in the United States is seeking a Distribution Associate to learn and perform multiple warehouse functions, including order picking, packing, loading outbound trailers, and routine inventory support.

You will use an RF scanner, operate powered equipment after training, and work in a team environment to meet accuracy and productivity goals while maintaining safety and a clean workspace.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Completion of Emerson-required training for powered industrial equipment.
• Comfort working at heights up to 20 feet with fall-protection.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet productivity goals.
• Basic math skills for order accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick customer orders using an RF scanner and powered industrial equipment.
• Perform computer-based tasks to support order fulfillment and inventory movement.
• Work cooperatively in a team environment and communicate clearly with leaders and peers.
• Pack customer orders according to specific requirements, including markings and pallet configurations.
• Retrieve, transport, and stage materials for daily schedules and outbound trailers.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow all housekeeping expectations.
• Safely operate equipment after training (fork trucks, stock pickers, turret trucks, pallet jacks, reach trucks).
• Perform additional tasks to support distribution center operations.
