Job summary

Fortis Solutions Group is seeking a Rewind Operator to operate a rewind machine in our Orem, UT facility. You will produce finished rolls to customer specifications, verify core IDs, copy position, and ensure quality while following safety procedures.

Responsibilities include setting up blades and cores, performing splices, labeling verification, and boxing finished rolls for shipping. Candidates should have at least one year of machine operation experience and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review job work instructions/tickets and set up the rewind machine for the job.
• Operate the rewind machine to break large rolls into finished customer rolls.
• Review labels and rolls for quality and consistency.
• Perform splices and verify product IDs.
• Verify core IDs and place finished rolls in correct box with matching IDs.
• Communicate issues with labels or IDs to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow Fortis policies.
