Job summary

AMETEK NSI-MI Technologies in Suwanee, GA is seeking a Mechanical Technician – Reflector to perform mechanical assembly of precision reflector products in a project-driven, build-to-order environment. You will assemble back structures, stands, and reflector panels, using hand tools, adhesives, torque wrenches, and welding equipment.

The role requires reading blueprints and specifications, inspecting parts, and ensuring conformance to drawings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Associate degree desirable.
• 2 years minimum of machine building / assembly experience or a combination of applicable course work and job experience.
• Must have legal right to work in the U.S. and be authorized to access export-controlled information and source code.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components using hand tools, adhesives, torque wrenches, and welding equipment.
• Position and align components for assembly, manually or with handling tools.
• Read assembly blueprints, schematics, and spec manuals; assist with assembly, rework, repair and safe lifting of delicate heavy products.
