Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in Quality Inspection, preferably in a medical manufacturing environment
• High School Diploma or GED
• Proficiency with or ability to learn blueprint interpretation and standard measurement tools
• Computer proficiency required (Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, MRP)
• Must be detail oriented and well organized

Responsibilities

• Verify all appropriate documentation, labeling, packaging, and product quantities
• Enter required information in the Receiving Inspection Records processes material certifications and SDS documentation
• Handling/ movement of received material from loading dock and stage for transfer into inventory location
• Inspect incoming parts and materials for conformance to specification using Incoming Inspection Procedures, material specifications, 2D prints, mechanical and electrical test, and inspection instruments
• Aid in the generation and maintenance of Receiving Inspection procedures/records, material specifications and the variety of inspection/test methods and techniques used to ensure compliance to applicable requirements
• Collaborate with other departments regarding part and process improvements to include: Non-conforming material root cause analysis and disposition (MRB)
• Maintain accurate receiving inspection inventory, perform cycle count of the MRB area as required
• Communicate information effectively and efficiently and participate on cross-functional teams
• Accept other responsibilities as assigned
• Complete training as identified by standard operating procedures and procedural work instructions
• Regular attendance is an essential job function
