Job summary

The role requires coordination with Production to keep manufacturing schedules on track. The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or GED and at least two years’ experience in a regulated industry, strong measurement skills, and proficiency with MS

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required with two years’ experience in a regulated industry (medical device, aerospace, automotive).
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel).
• Ability to read and interpret policies, procedures, drawings, and other materials.
• Able to interpret dimensional requirements on drawings and specifications.
• Proficient with measuring tools: ruler, micrometer, caliper, weight scale, force gauge, and digital multimeter.
• Strong math/data analysis skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples to support inspection/test requirements.
• Perform first article and routine inspection/test activities.
• Organize, analyze, and present inspection/test results.
• Transact and release acceptable material and production lots.
• Identify, document, label, and segregate nonconforming material and product; place on quality hold for review and disposition.
• Ensure labeling of materials and products with the appropriate acceptance status.
• Recommend adjustments to quality control plans, inspection/test methods, and production processes.
• Demonstrate commitment to patient safety and product quality by following Quality Policy and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned, including manufacturing assembly.
