Job summary

Crane 1 Services is seeking a Rebuild/Repair Technician to diagnose, disassemble, inspect, and rebuild lifting equipment. You will follow blueprints, use precision measuring tools, and perform tests to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and internal specs.

Local deliveries and material handling are part of daily duties. The role requires 2–3+ years in fabrication or millwright work, AWS SMAW/FCAW certification is a plus, and skills in welding, disassembly, and using cranes/forklifts are

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3+ years of fabrication or millwright experience preferred.
• Certification to AWS 14.1 for SMAW and FCAW is preferred.
• Experience reading blueprints and working to specifications.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect, rebuild/repair, and reassemble lifting equipment according to blueprints.
• Perform tests to evaluate quality and tolerances per drawings and specs.
• Maintain tool organization, and proper storage of shop tools and equipment.
• Receive/offload shipments and assist with local deliveries and pickups.
• Surface prepare structural items for painting and coating.
• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts as needed.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
• Document work performed and maintain data entries accurately.
• Collaborate with teammates to ensure support and timely repairs.
