QXO is seeking a reliable Rebar Cage Assembler for our production team in Detroit, MI. You will build, tie, and position reinforcing cages according to shop drawings, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates are physically capable, comfortable with repetitive hands-on work, and motivated to meet daily production goals with strong math, attention to detail, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Ability to read shop drawings, blueprints, and production instructions.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and ability to apply basic math to production work.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds with team lifting or mechanical aid.
• Proven reliability, safety-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble reinforcing cages according to customer specs and shop drawings.
• Tie, position, and secure rebar components to form completed cages.
• Measure placement, spacing, and dimensions throughout assembly.
• Follow production instructions and quality standards to minimize waste.
• Operate hand tools and material-handling equipment safely.
