Job summary

QXO is seeking a Production Associate – Rebar to support daily fabrication operations by operating production equipment and processing reinforcing steel to customer specs. You will ensure rebar is cut, bent, fabricated, inspected, and staged accurately while maintaining safety and production efficiency in a fast-paced industrial environment.

The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of reading fabrication sheets, bar lists, and work orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read fabrication sheets, bar lists, and work orders.
• Mechanical aptitude and safe operation of production equipment.
• Experience in rebar or steel fabrication is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate rebar cutting, bending, and fabrication equipment safely.
• Set up and monitor equipment to meet work orders.
• Review fabrication sheets and schedules for accurate material processing.
• Inspect materials and maintain quality and safety standards.
• Assist with material handling and inventory housekeeping.
