Job summary

AFCO Performance Group in Boonville, Indiana is seeking a Racing Equipment Assembly Technician to join our team. You will build high-quality racing equipment used by racers and teams nationwide.

Daily duties include reviewing instructions, inspecting components, assembling gauges and panels, and using hand tools to ensure quality. The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to lift up to 25 pounds, and a four-day workweek.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Willingness to work in a four-day schedule.

Responsibilities

• Review detailed work instructions and specifications for each build.
• Inspect components to meet quality requirements.
• Follow video, electronic, and written assembly instructions.
• Assemble racing equipment such as gauges and panels.
• Use hand tools and equipment (wrenches, heat guns, drills).
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
• Move between work areas as production needs change.
• Collaborate with team to meet daily and weekly goals.
• Stand for extended periods and maintain safety.
