Job summary

Masterbilt, Inc. is seeking a Quality Technician to ensure the quality of raw materials, components, and production parts. The role represents the quality department to internal and external customers and supports continuous improvement and accurate documentation.

The technician will inspect materials, perform tests, calibrate gauges, and interpret blueprints and GD&T to uphold Masterbilt’s safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years manufacturing and metrology experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret drawings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials and components.
• Test and inspect parts during and after production.
• Use calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify conformance.
• Coordinate calibrations and perform internal calibrations.
• Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and material specs.
• Maintain calibration and preventive maintenance on measuring equipment.
