Job summary

The ITW facility in Troy, Ohio is seeking a Quality Technician to perform inspection functions for machined and/or fabricated parts, verify first piece, and conduct periodic inspections from detailed drawings. You will use vernier height gauges, surface gauges, dial indicators, micrometers and other precision tools, and document results in inspection reports.

You will support the Quality Management System, participate in audits, and work in a hot/cold manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and gauges accurately.
• Perform dimensional checks and measurements.
• Maintain inspection records and rejection notices.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong math and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect machined and fabricated parts for conformance to drawings and specs.
• Verify first piece and periodic inspections from detailed drawings.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports and rejection notices.
• Support the Quality Management System (QMS) and assist audits.
• Work in hot/cold manufacturing environments and wear PPE as required.
