Job summary

Ppswork in Wickliffe, OH is seeking an Inspection Technician to ensure the highest quality in manufacturing. You will perform precision inspections with calipers, micrometers, and CMM/vision systems, and document results per ISO 9001 and AS9100.

You will collect data, analyze trends, and support corrective actions with cross-functional teams. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential for maintaining product quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints.
• Strong understanding of GD&T.
• Experience with QA/QC methodologies.
• Experience with quality inspection equipment.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.
• Experience with Keyence Visual Inspection System, Hexagon CMM and Sunnen bore gages.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough quality inspections using precision measuring instruments.
• Perform data collection and analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement within our quality management systems.
• Utilize coordinate measuring machines and vision inspection systems to ensure accuracy in measurements and product integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions based on quality audits and inspection findings.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and quality assurance activities per ISO 9001 standards.
• Assist in the development and refinement of quality control procedures to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
