Job summary

Multiquip Inc. is seeking a Quality Technician to inspect and test products at various stages of manufacturing and procurement. The role ensures conformance to engineering specifications through hands-on measurement and documentation.

The candidate will perform visual and dimensional inspections, maintain FAI records, and report defects. Proficiency with SAP and MS Office is valued, with a focus on accuracy and problem solving in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent.
• Ability to read blueprints and material specifications.
• Basic problem solving with simple math and geometry.
• 1 year related experience or related training preferred.
• Experience with MS Windows and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify conformance to blueprints and specs.
• Maintain accurate inspection records, including First Article Inspection (FAI) reports, in paper or electronic formats.
• Identify and segregate defective material, initiate NCRs.
• Enter and monitor data in QA systems like SAP/SAP-related modules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
