Hunting Dearborn Division in Fryeburg, ME seeks a Quality Planner to develop quality control plans and lead in-process, first article, and final inspections. You will interpret customer drawings, apply GD&T, and ensure conformance with contract requirements.

The role is on-site, requiring strong problem-solving, teamwork, and attention to detail to support a stable, growth-oriented manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• MS Office proficiency required.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Strong understanding of GD&T application.
• Clear written and verbal communication in a professional setting.

Responsabilités

• Review customer contracts, specs, and industry standards as required.
• Interpret and evaluate geometric controls on drawings.
• Collaborate with project management to review process sketches and part processes.
• Create/update balloon drawings and inspection plans.
• Create/update first article and final inspection report templates.
• Perform capability studies and collect SPC data as needed.
• Inspect in-process and final parts using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, etc.
• Train others on inspection methods and equipment.
