Job summary

Biomerics NLE LLC in Monroe, CT is seeking a dedicated Quality Operator to join our manufacturing team. The role focuses on inspecting incoming, in-process, and finished parts to customer specifications, employing microscopes and a range of measuring instruments to ensure precision, and documenting results in our QA database.

This full-time position requires teamwork, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience as a Quality Operator or Inspector in machining or high-tech manufacturing.
Proficiency with microscopes for visual inspection and with CMMs, video measurement systems, and related tools.
GD&T knowledge and strong math, analytical, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Reads and understands blueprints and specifications.
Approves incoming, in-process, and finished products by confirming specifications, conducting tests, and communicating adjustments to production.
May function as a point of contact to discuss issues as appropriate.
Utilizes microscopes at 10–30X magnification to ensure high-quality products with no visual defects.
Uses video measurement systems, comparators, height gauges, microscopes, CMMs, and handheld gauges.
Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs and updating a quality database.
Supports the established QMS/QA processes and works with internal resources to recommend improvements.
Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and regulations.
Keeps job knowledge updated through education and reading technical publications.
