Job summary

KLA in Totowa, NJ is seeking a Quality Inspector to inspect and test semiconductor metrology tools, evaluate mechanical and electrical subsystems, and ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.

You will document results, quarantine nonconforming materials, and collaborate with manufacturing, engineering and quality teams to drive continuous improvements in product reliability and inspection efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2 years of related experience in inspection, testing, or quality in manufacturing or equipment-build environment.
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test semiconductor metrology tools to ensure compliance with drawings and customer specs.
• Evaluate mechanical assemblies, pneumatic/hydraulic components, and electrical controllers.
• Document inspection results and maintain quality records.
• Quarantine and manage nonconforming materials per procedures.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering and quality teams on corrective actions.
