You will measure dimensions, read blueprints, and document results in inspection reports. Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma, 2+ years of related experience, and demonstrate strong communication, organizational skills, and time-management.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related work experience and training; equivalent combination.
• Excellent communications skills.
• Strong organizational, decision-making, and time-management skills.
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Experience with ERP systems and statistical programs.
• Black Belt certification preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, or measure materials, products, installations, or work for conformance to specifications.
• Measure dimensions of products using rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers.
• Read blueprints, data, manuals to determine inspection procedures and required tools.
• Mark items with acceptance or rejection status.
• Notify supervisors or other personnel of production problems.
• Discard or reject products, materials, or equipment not meeting specifications.
• Write test or inspection reports describing results and recommendations.
• Recommend corrective actions based on inspection reports.
